N-Up PDF

Combine 2 or 4 pages per sheet — perfect for handouts and saving paper.

About this tool

Printing a 40-page deck for a meeting doesn't have to consume 40 sheets. N-Up places 2 or 4 document pages onto each printed sheet, cutting paper use in half or by three quarters while keeping content perfectly legible.

The 2-up layout uses landscape sheets with pages side by side; 4-up uses a 2×2 grid. Both scale pages proportionally with tidy spacing.

Frequently asked questions

What does N-Up mean?
It's a printing term: placing N logical pages on one physical sheet. 2-up halves your paper use; 4-up quarters it.
Will small text still be readable in 4-up?
Each page shrinks to a quarter of the sheet, so it depends on the source font size. Documents in 11 pt or larger usually stay readable; use 2-up for dense text.
Can I print double-sided too?
Yes — combine N-Up with your printer's duplex option to fit 4 or 8 pages per sheet of paper.
